Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir of the Grand Theatre in Łódź was created in March 2012 and from the beginning it was favourably received by parents who noticed and appreciated this form of leisure activity for their children, and by children themselves who naturally pursue their artistic talents with a great deal of commitment. It is a great experience for them to stand on an opera house stage next to excellent professional artists and hear the applause from thousands of spectators! The choir appears both in the performances encompassed by the present repertoire of the Theatre (e.g.  THE HAUNTED MANNOR, THE GYPSY BARON, CARMEN, HALKA, TURANDOT), and participates in thematic and occasional concerts or the spectacle created especially for them MAGIC BOS.  The choir consists of children aged 7-17, who, as part of didactic meetings, participate in singing and movement classes, which are held twice a week: on Thursdays at 4 p.m. – 5.45 p.m., and in Saturdays at 2 p.m. – 3.45 p.m.  We encourage children to join the choir! Artistic Manager: Maciej Salski dance classes and physical activities: Grzegorz Brożek accompanist: Taras Hlushko.
